The moon is full early Friday (tomorrow) morning.

The Solstice happens later in the day, 5:23 PM EST - and Winter begins.

We've already passed the earliest sunset here in the northeast (December 8). It's the early sunsets that get to me. Every minute in the right direction counts. Have to wait until the second week of January before sunrise starts to get earlier.
