Rachel Maddow And MSNBC Won't Show Trump, And Now They're #1

This makes me smile https://www.politicususa.com/2018/12/19/rachel-maddow-and-msnbc-wont-show-trump-and-now-theyre-1.html

Rachel Maddow and MSNBC don’t give Trump and his administration a platform for their lies, and viewers have responded by making them number one.

According to Neilson numbers provided to PoliticusUSA by MSNBC:

MSNBC capped off its 3rd consecutive record ratings year as the #1 cable news network in prime (M-F 8-11pm) for December, according to Nielsen. December to-date (11/26-12/17), MSNBC prime was #1 in both A25-54 and total viewers. December marked the 1st month ever in which MSNBC prime beat both FOX News and CNN in A25-54 and total viewers, averaging 438K viewers A25-54 (vs. CNN’s 362K and FOX News’ 407K) and 2.51M total viewers (vs. CNN’s 1.3M and FOX News’ 2.47M). “The Rachel Maddow Show” at 9 pm was the #1 show across all cable news for December, averaging 573K viewers A25-54 (vs. CNN’s 375K and FOX News’ 424K) and 3.1M total viewers (vs. CNN’s 1.3M and FOX News’ 2.7M). “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” at 10 pm and “The 11th Hour with Brian Williams” at 11 pm also won their hours in both A25-54 and total viewers.

Unless you can verbally tell your tv.

I generally don't turn the tv on until the afternoon. After Andrea Mitchell. Don't care for her. I usually watch some other channel or from the DVR. I might watch some Ali Velshi later. For sure Nicolle Wallace on Deadline: White House. Then it is the local news. I catch the end of Ari Melber and beginning of Chris Matthews. Though most of the time I go deaf with his rants before changing to Jeopardy. I stay with over the air until 9 unless there is something I want to watch on the regular networks. If not, it is Rachel Maddow and then Lawrence.

The lying right wingers are usually on hours I don't watch.

All the cable noise channels seemed to have this fascination with every breath he took. Trump is truly the south end of a north bound horse, but he played the media like a fiddle.

I assumed they were also showing clips, but since it's a podcast, I don't know. They play them to show a contrast to the facts or yet another outrageous lie. But they don't give him a platform, like showing his rallies and such. As if he were a legitimate President.

Maybe the other anchors will learn to follow suit with the 8-11pm group. I usually can't stand the usual suspects in the morning through Matthews outside of Ari and Ali Velshi.

I change the channel whenever a "news" report has the Orangutan speaking, saying anything. Never thought it would make a difference. But I don't want to see a man destroying America with everything he says and does. And I don't want anyone to think I'm watching, since I'm not.

I don't have to sit through clips of assmouth all the time. I just hate everything single thing about him, the meanness, the hate, the spite, the racism, the greed, the lies, the utter stupidity the criminality the treason, his children, there is nothing in the world good about him - not even one speck of good.

a few months ago advising them that their audience finds Trump / Sanders repulsive and that we have TV remotes that reflexively change the channel upon hearing their grating voices or seeing their vile images. Apparently I wasn't the only one with these sentiments. I posted my email messages to them on social media advising others to express their disgust.
Maybe we should start sending similar messages to Pox News. It's OK to lie to Pox and identify ourselves as "staunch Republicans" as they are a propaganda networks running Republican campaign ads 24 / 7.
So just for shits and giggles, why not DU Pox News.
