In custody of Border Control, 7-year-old Guatemalan girl dies of dehydration

https://www.nola.com/national_politics/2018/12/in-custody-of-border-control-7-year-old-guatemalan-girl-dies-of-dehydration.html

By The Washington Post
A 7-year-old girl from Guatemala died of dehydration and shock after she was taken into Border Patrol custody last week for crossing from Mexico into the United States illegally with her father and a large group of migrants along a remote span of New Mexico desert, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Thursday.

The child's death is likely to intensify scrutiny of detention conditions at Border Patrol stations and CBP facilities that are increasingly overwhelmed by large numbers of families seeking asylum in the United States.

According to CBP records, the girl and her father were taken into custody about 10 p.m. Dec. 6 south of Lordsburg, New Mexico, as part of a group of 163 people who approached U.S. agents to turn themselves in.

More than eight hours later, the child began having seizures at 6:25 a.m., CBP records show. Emergency responders, who arrived soon after, measured her body temperature at 105.7 degrees, and according to a statement from CBP, she "reportedly had not eaten or consumed water for several days."

After a helicopter flight to Providence Hospital in El Paso, Texas, the child went into cardiac arrest and "was revived," according to the agency. "However, the child did not recover and died at the hospital less than 24 hours after being transported," CBP said.

I seldom listen to that piece of low life, deplorable trash...but tonight I just happened to tune in to a few minutes of his deceitful diatribe; and the way that piece of shit referred to it was something to the effect “this irresponsible father tried to sneak in to the border and did so at the expense of his 7 yr old daughter dying of dehydration...”, blah, blah, blah. NO mention of the border patrol Nazi’s involvement and responsibility AT ALL.

Fox needs to be shut down...or at least this despicable trash talking thug and fucker Carlson need to be taken off the air. I am so pissed....it’s a damn good thing for those two propaganda con jobs that I don’t live anywhere near them. I think they are both a waste of life.

I didn't know we weren't killing enough 7-year-olds, and that was what was keeping America from being great. Anyone have a Trump supporter they can ask about this?
