(53,410 posts)He has no interest in actually following through. He fully relies on not getting funding for his wall, although he fantasizes about getting it. In his twisted mind he thinks that makes it all a win win for him.

(7,142 posts)Ezra said that Trump doesn't want to build his wall. He has 3.6 billion dollars just collecting dust. Trump wants the fight over building the wall to keep his base riled up. Makes sense to me, Ezra may be right.

(86,779 posts)it's all he's got. He needs to keep the drama going to keep the viewers interested.

(6,231 posts)goes on, trump is losing more support. His base is shrinking. So the fool boy just proves how unfit he is to be president.

(86,779 posts)the damned holidays! We've got two of 'em in the next two weeks and many wheels of industry, commerce and government will come to a halt. The whole week after the 25th is a wash so I hope we can all calm down for a few days and enjoy the lull. When January comes around, start working in earnest on making this country the country it claims to be. And I'm not going to say "again" because that was never really the case, we are directed to continue to make it better not claim success and sit back and do nothing, which is kind of what we did for too long.

(7,142 posts)if we knew Trump's daily routine.
Wakes up early, can't sleep, Tweets on the toilet, takes a couple hours to fix the sage brush on his head. Not sure when he squeezes breakfast in. Goes to lunch with some poor person. Oh I forgot, he squeezes in Fox and Friends.
Meets with Jarvanka about what he needs to lie about.
Dang, where does the time go? It's almost time to watch Fox to get his talking points, foreign policy, domestic policy. Time to Tweet some more after having watched Fox.
Rings the bell for his covfefe to make a run to McDonalds or KFC.
Time for bed, whew.

(9,999 posts)what is NOT getting done while he pisses away the very few ours he actually spends pretending to be busy. This is a 24/7 job and he barely gives it 5/5. It just leaves me gobsmacked.

(53,410 posts)The less he does in real life is best for this country. If that means we have to listen to his convfefe, then so be it.

(15,682 posts)to the American politcal lexicon who spells it the way it was first introduced to us.
At first I thought I had remembered it incorrectly. So I did a search for its proper spelling. I was right, as are you.
Makes me kind of sad that it is misspelled 99.9% of the time. The beauty of it was in the spelling as much as in its meaning. At least, to me.

(81,467 posts)The way he was sitting there. Legs spread way apart. Dick exposed, hands down in front of it. Taking up a disproportionately large space. Strange attempt at looking male-dominant. Or defensive at the same time? Or something (???). Who the heck even knows, with this particular specimen? I suspect the extra-long tie makes some subliminal statement, too.
I cant help but suspect that most male-to-male oppositional postures like the ones he seems to prefer are little more than attempts to assert a mines BIGGER dominance.

(23,661 posts)and the enormity of it that causes him to sit like that ... when he's standing it's somewhat stretched out, but sitting ... if he's leaning back in a recliner it spreads to the sides, but upright it falls into his lap, hangs down into his crotch ... I doubt he's seen his genitals in years (sorry for that image)
so I don't think he can help it, he's a slob pig ...

(2,039 posts)His fat gut and thighs crush his balls if he sits like normal men.
PatSeg
(47,589 posts)subliminal message, but I think the way he sits has more to do with his excessive weight. He appears very uncomfortable and tends to sit on the edge of his seat, leaning forward, perhaps to breath better or alleviate pressure on his back. Video of a younger, thinner Trump, shows someone who was comfortable sitting back in a chair in a relaxed, sometimes arrogant manner.
In one-on-one interviews, he sits so far on the edge of his seat, he resembles a preschooler and looks like he might fall off the chair.
Oh and he could never sit back and cross his legs. He is too fat.
