Your Sunday Schadenfreude: Trump admin actually understaffed, can't staff anti-SCO war room.

Republican anxiety spikes as Trump faces growing legal and political perils
<snip>

Rather than building a war room to manage the intersecting crises as past administration's have done, the Trump White House is understaffed, stuck in a bunker mentality and largely resigned to a plan to wing it. Political and communications operatives are mostly taking their cues from the president and letting him drive the message with his spontaneous broadsides.

"A war room? You serious?" one former White House official said when asked about internal preparations. "They've never had one, will never have one. They don't know how to do one." - Salt Lake Tribune

Me so sad.

On a serious note. Thank goodness we don't have an international crisis. Our country is flat-footed by tRump and his criminal cronies.

Putin is playing the long game, and for keeps, and I would put good money on him creating an(other) international crisis... he is a maliciously brilliant parasite that creates and thrives in chaotic environments.

I would say 'put on your seatbelts', but they will likely not help.
