Helsinki, Oslo or Addis Ababa any tips of stuff to do or places to eat etc. I have been to Helsinki and Oslo as a kid but not as an adult and never to Addis Ababa thanks

Wish I could offer some useful advice. I do recall they had a pretty decent natural history museum.

(14,565 posts)In Oslo I remember the park with all the statues...bodies wrapped around each other.
Also the museum devoted to Kon Tiki.
Can't say I remember much about Helsinki. We saw lots of old churches and buildings but nothing that stands out by name.

(15,749 posts)but it was decades ago. Stayed at the Hotel Ghion when there.
I had a terrible allergic reaction eating zigni, a native Ethiopian dish. Tried it once, broke out in hives, had trouble breathing etc. Tried it a second time just to find out whether the first time was just an abnormal reaction. Same thing happened the second time, too.
