How weird is the UK political situation right now?

After today, we cannot actually rule out serving UK cabinet ministers being locked in Big Ben for the remainder of the Parliament.

No, seriously, I'm not kidding.

The Government has been found in contempt of Parliament, and Parliament at least notionally has detention in the Westminster Clocktower as its only remedy.
