and that could be an indication of a recession in a year or so.
But if we have a recession of the beginnings of one before Trump is finished he will blame it on the Fed or Democrats or Obama or Hillary, never himself.

7. The Dow goes up, we are silent, the Dow goes down, we crow. One day moves do not a market make.

Especially when Uncle Scrooge's favorite nephew makes meaningless headline-grabbing pronouncements on a daily basis.

The other day, when the Dow went up 500 or 600 points, rich people weren't the only ones who cheered. Retirees with their pensions in stocks or stock funds and working people with a 401k invested to any degree in stocks cheered, too.

They lose just as badly when the market goes down, and gyrations of the current exaggerated nature probably aren't good for their blood pressure, no matter in which direction they go.

When Obama was president, a movement of this kind in the Dow would have been front page news. These days, it's "oh, and by the way." That is not healthy.

Wow, basically the China-Trump truce was looked at more closely and business realized it was all talk and no substance.

China would be crazy to give an inch right now, they have the weak Trump right where they want him. If they hold out another 6 months Trump will come crawling back and beg them for table scraps.
