A question about President Bush's funeral

Robert Mueller was appointed an Assistant U.S. Attorney by President G.H.W. Bush. Mr. Mueller was appointed as Director of the FBI by President G.W. Bush.

Will Mr. Mueller be attending the funeral?

It would be interestingly awkward if he had any contact with Trump!

(wink)

Unless there was a personal relationship, Mueller was one of many Government Officials during the Bush 41 Administration. They can't all attend.

I really meant the question in a light-hearted way.

It would be pretty funny, though, if there were some kind of receiving line and Trump and Mr. Mueller ended up side by side.

"Hello, Mr. President. I'm Bob Mueller."

"I'm sorry, but have we met?"

"Yes, we spoke about a job with the FBI."

"Oh, right. Sorry that didn't work out."

"That's okay. I got another interesting job instead."

"Good for you. Hope we see one another again sometime."

"Oh, we will. Quite soon, I'm sure."
