Life well lived: Tuskegee Airmen Capt. Robert Martin dies at 99

Capt. Robert Martin flew with the U.S. Army’s 332nd Fighter Group, better known as the Tuskegee Airmen, during World War II. A trailblazer in a segregated military, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Purple Heart and the Congressional Gold Medal for his service and sacrifices. Martin died recently at age 99. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
