It paints a picture of the Bush family that it alarming...but somehow believable. The recent revelations by Rachael Maddow about 41's involvement in the Agnew obstruction of justice gives this fantastic story of conspiracy some credibiliity.

6. I mentioned Baker's book the day Bush died

Baker laid out that this family tree -- the Prescotts, too -- saw themsleves as puppeteers on national and international levels going back to the early part of the 20th century. The Bush's oil interests after WWII were often tied to hot spots in the Cold War and Baker found plenty of evidence that GHWB was involved with the CIA after his OSS days in WWII ended, even though he always denied it. I believe he and his son's actions led to wars and the demise of democracy across Central America and they are responsible for thousands of deaths in that area alone. The family has a very dark side which you will not hear about this week.
