I'm thinking now that the ONLY good thing about RUMP is

His presidency will completely DESTROY the REPUGLICON party!!!I really believe this!!

because of his presidency, but common sense must prevail in DC. to make positive changes.

We are a better educated people about how our government works.
More people are active in politics, even just talking politics.
The curtain has been pulled back a little on racism, religious tolerance or intolerance.
Women are getting noticed as powerful people.
Voting rights are getting a better stage for change.
Future president hopefuls may get vetted better so this can’t happen as easily again
Corruption is being called out instead of hiding in the shadows.

An opposition party is needed for better checks and balances. The Republican Party won’t die, but it may change to the degree we may not recognize it compared to what it is today.

I really try to look for the positive in our situation.
