I have no idea how the Trump presidency is going to end...

But I do know that it WILL end. He is either going to jail, going to be impeached, resign, kill himself, have a heart attack, simply disappear, or be voted out in 2020. I believe that if the 2020 election were held today, he would lose handily. I believe that will be even more true by the time 2020 rolls around and we have more of an idea of what he's been up to than we do now.

We have turned a corner. To use a metaphor, the allies have landed at Normandy and are steaming towards Germany. It's only a matter of when they get there, not if. Someday, this nightmare is going to end.

Only on corruption (which means they have been convicted of something). The adding of Justices to SCOTUS has been a continuing fantasy since FDR tried it and that never happens.

John Roberts coild surprise us and actually be reasonable. Clarence Thomas needs to be replaced after we win back the White House. There is a SLIM glimmer of hope here.

"This too shall pass."

On the morning of Dec. 7, 2000, I walked into a room that had that written in big letters on the wall. Best thing to ever happen to me. It's also the only thing that gave me hope over the last two years.

This too shall pass. And when it does not just our nation will celebrate but the entire world, well except russia, will join us. It will be a glorious day. Like at the end of Return of the Jedi when the universe celebrated the demise of the evil emperor and his heartless side kick dick cheney... oops my bad, I meant Darth Vader. VE day in 1945. Or when the Patriots did not win the super bowl. Even better anytime Florida beats georgia. That kind of awesome celebrating.

6. Bruce Springsteen thinks he will be re elected because there is no one in the Democratic Party

Who can appeal to the working class.

Bruce Springsteen believes that President Donald Trump will win a second term in the White House.

'I don't see anyone out there at the moment... the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump,' the rocker told The Sunday Times Magazine.

Springsteen, who is a long-standing Democrat himself, said the political party doesn't 'have an obvious, effective presidential candidate' who can 'speak the same language' as Trump.
The iconic Born to Run singer went on to talk about the 'life-changing, upsetting occurrences' that have caused division in the United States.

During his interview, Springsteen, who in the past campaigned for former president Barack Obama and presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, said that there are a lot of reasons people 'became Trump voters'.

I think Bruce is wrong.

As to the Democrats, it's a bit early and just like Obama, the right person came at the right time. Just as the schizophrenic voters wanted a change from a classy, intelligent black president, they flipped and got a classless, moronic, orange president.

I think a number of Democrats (no, not Biden) will become attractive as this circus packs up and leaves (or is run out of) town.

We'll see a version of Nixon...the Republican party is and will continue to disintegrate under this dotard. Even the Red Base knee jerks don't like to see him pouting in Europe and getting had by Putin...over and over again. Nor do they like losing their jobs and having no overseas market to sell their produce and rising prices. Note his kowtow to Xi on trade.

7. A war may be started out of desperation but it's hard to believe he could win re-election.
Sun Dec 2, 2018, 03:16 PM

Of course, it was hard to believe he could "win" in 2016.

As long as MI, PA and WI return to being blue (positive signs from the midterm election), our nominee will prevail. MI and PA were won by the Dem in 6 straight elections prior to 2016, and Wisconsin was won by the Dem in 7 straight elections prior to '16. No last minute Comey announcement in 2020. No Dem nominee who has been under relentless attack for 3 decades.

I don't think Trump will ever go to jail, sadly, but I am starting to think resignation is more likely than him losing in 2020. Provided he can be convinced that he can't win re-election, meaning resignation would protect his fragile ego.

"I want to spend more time with family. I want to return to running my vast and bigly successful empire. This country doesn't deserve to have me as president. Blah, blah, blah."

and Germany's war was lost on all fronts, Hitler did not capitulate. In his mind, somehow Germany itself failed him personally, and was deserving of immolation as punishment
