I believe that if the 2020 election were held today, he would lose handily. I believe that will be even more true by the time 2020 rolls around and we have more of an idea of what he's been up to than we do now.

As long as MI, PA and WI return to being blue (positive signs from the midterm election), our nominee will prevail. MI and PA were won by the Dem in 6 straight elections prior to 2016, and Wisconsin was won by the Dem in 7 straight elections prior to '16. No last minute Comey announcement in 2020. No Dem nominee who has been under relentless attack for 3 decades.

I don't think Trump will ever go to jail, sadly, but I am starting to think resignation is more likely than him losing in 2020. Provided he can be convinced that he can't win re-election, meaning resignation would protect his fragile ego.
