Trump-Russia investigation: Robert Mueller requests Deutsche Bank hand over President's records as FBI probe intensifies

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has asked Deutsche Bank to share data on accounts held by US President Donald Trump and his family, a person close to the matter said on Tuesday.

Germany’s largest bank received a subpoena from Mueller several weeks ago to provide information on certain money and credit transactions, the person added, confirming a report by German daily Handelsblatt published on Tuesday.

Deutsche Bank, which has loaned the Trump organisation millions of dollars for real estate ventures, said it would not comment on any of its clients.

Deutsche Bank & Russia's VTB bank starting doing a healthy business together. Deutsche helped get money out of Russia.

Deutsche also had a history with Trump when US banks wouldn't touch him. After Trump tried to burn them, another division of Deutsche magically ponied up more dough for Trump. (my thought: might have come from the Russians ...). There may be management at Deutsche who would like to nail Trump after he tried to burn them.

Mueller had been rumored to have subpoenaed Deutsche Bank in 2017 which they denied to Trump according to reports. But eventually, maybe it was time.

The recent Panama Papers raid may be a cover to get at some of the info. Who knows.
