Fire, Not Smoke

Jerome Corsi is a professional liar and a volatile one at that. But the Post is reporting that he is now in negotiations to plea agreement with Special Counsel Robert Mueller. If that’s true, if it happens, that will likely bring him significantly closer to Roger Stone (who I strongly suspect Mueller already has more than enough information on to indict). And that in turn should be a big step closer to unraveling what went on between the Trump campaign, Russia and Wikileaks. They’re all part of one big story.

When he's the one who lied, he's the one who put himself in this position , not the prosecutor, and now we're seeing he's willing to talk, or admit his guilt of crimes he knows he committed . Only criminals knowing they have to lie claim perjury traps, because they know its going to expose themselves. That's also why trump acted all summer long like he'd talk to Mueller, when he knew he wouldn't then claim it was a trap. It is a trap for a criminal lying under oath, but not for innocent people who can tell the truth and have nothing to hide. All these trump people are liars, and all getting caught now. Corsi is only one of many.

Trump knows he is going to be named as a conspirator with Russia and I am sure would love to have no one but proven liars like Corsi as witnesses against him. Mueller may make a deal with him but I doubt he'd ever use him as a witness, except perhaps to corroborate proof that Mueller already has from other sources. I think it matters little what Corsi or Stone say except to lock them into whatever they may have to say under oath and establish them as part of the conspiracy with Trump.
