I won't even go into the way Red Hats are probably processing this mess, other than to say they will most likely take their cues from Trump, which means they...don't...care.

We're going down a bad path, and his 35% base won't be enough to re-elect him, even with gerrymandering and the electoral college.

Let's hope that a combination of a Democratic House in January and Trump's own intensifying repellent behavior will wrap things up in time for a real president to be elected in 2020.
