And I certainly don’t think it’s about a bogus multi-billion dollar arms deal.
Same as with Russia, Trump is either compromised or owned by the Saudis.
If they had been giving and laundering millions of dollars to Trump over the years, exposing that would end Trump but no one could really do anything to the Saudis.

He constantly criticises the intelligence community. You would think they have a shiff load of dirty laundry that could stand a little airing.

Hard to see how supporting dictators who dismember their critics as being consistent with American values, but as Trump hastens to point out, he's the president and nobody else is.

Maybe it's time for a new president, one who doesn't think brutally murdering someone is just another expression of statecraft.

"After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Bush didn't call for sacrifice. He called for shopping. "Get down to Disney World in Florida," he said. "Take your families and enjoy life, the way we want it to be enjoyed." Taken on its own, this wasn't such a horrible sentiment. But Boston University historian Andrew Bacevich has made a convincing case that it was part of a broader pattern of encouraging financial irresponsibility. "Bush seems to have calculated — cynically but correctly — that prolonging the credit-fueled consumer binge could help keep complaints about his performance as Commander in Chief from becoming more than a nuisance," Bacevich wrote in the Washington Post in October. Now we're paying the bill."

Sure, intelligence officials are saying it's undoubtedly Putin/MbS, but it could be anyone. Translation: I have large sums of money at stake and a cult following to maintain with the help of obfuscation, so I'm going to pull random statements out of my ass. P.S. I'm an evil narcissist, and my predecessor would have been impeached for any one of a hundred criminal things I've done. Thank goodness I seem to be made of teflon.
