When a politician uses the word “reform,” run

When most politicians use the word “reform,” they’re really talking about destroying something.

When Romney/Ryan (or Bush/Cheney) talk about “reforming” Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security, they’re talking about “privatizing” them which would result in their total destruction.

The result of prison “reform” has given us the biggest gulag in the world. And when Bill Clinton signed the “Welfare Reform” act, he condemned countless people to more misery than they were already suffering.

Politicians know that far too many millions of Americans are low-knowledge (read ignorant) voters who fall for the “reform” crap. It’s why they can keep peddling it.

What really needs reform is the virtually total corruption of America’s political system.

stop saying 'privatize'? Another 'grab your wallet' moment is when they say "flexibility' or 'choices'.

Both should send up a huge red flag that they are going to rip you off.

We should all be aware that they are using nice-sounding phrases to mask the fact that they're screwing us.
