"Black Friday" started online before Haloween. BEWARE!

Used to be that "Black Friday" was the day after Thanksgiving when every retailer was giving away stuff for a few bucks if you were the first one into the store.

Hell, if you were Attila the Hun and were close enough to the door on "Black Friday," you could have axed your way past the peasants, trampled any man, woman, or child who got in your way, and grabbed some 60 inch TV for Ten bucks before anyone else got to it.

In other words, "Black Friday" was a close cousin of the TV show "Purge." No penalty for virtually killing people who wanted what you wanted, and you were going to be the first one there no matter what.

The online "Black Friday" adds have been relentless. But here's the reality: If you take the time to research on google all of these so-called "Black Friday deals," you'll find that retailers have found a new way to fuck you. You think you're getting a good deal because they're telling you that you're getting a good deal.

Before ordering whatever it is they're selling, take a deep breath, keep your credit card in your pocket, ignore paypal, and research what you're buying, what does it cost elsewhere, is there a warranty, and is whoever you're buying it from a reputable dealer who will still be in business next week.

Some (many?) of these "Black Friday" online sales could turn out to be the biggest consumer fraud scam of all time. Stay alert. Stay cautious. Stay suspicious. Realize that there are many people out there who are trying to fuck you out of your money/savings. Be aware. Protect yourself. Don't be taken for a fool.
