"At the peak of prescriptions here in Indiana in 2012, there were 112 opioid prescriptions for every 100 Indiana residents," said Attorney General Curtis Hill. "From 2012 to 2016 there were 58 Indiana counties with opioid prescribing rates greater that 100 plus prescriptions per 100 residents."
The suit was filed in Marion County on behalf of the State of Indiana.
It alleges that Purdue Pharma violated the state's "Deceptive Consumer Sales Act" ...
