What's up with bringing up the Lewinsky ordeal every couple of weeks?

Every time the chaos around Trump gets more and more out of control, someone brings up the Clintons and Monica. Like clockwork. Can someone tell the media the 90s are long gone?

It gets comments (kicks) which hide real national news, like I posted right before this thread reappeared:
What can Whitaker do about Mueller?
What can and can't Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker do about Mueller?

Last Updated Nov 13, 2018 4:42 PM EST

If the ouster of Attorney General Jeff Sessions wasn't enough to elicit concern from Trump critics in Washington, replacing him with Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker certainly has.

While President Trump searches for a permanent appointment for attorney general — something Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham says will likely happen "early next year" — Whitaker oversees special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election meddling and any ties to Trump associates.

Democrats are already urging Whitaker to recuse himself from the investigation, given Whitaker's public remarks on television and in print criticizing the scope and authority of Mueller's investigation. But Mr. Trump never forgave Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation, and publicly and repeatedly berated his attorney general for doing so. Whitaker has given no indication that he intends to recuse himself after assuming the oversight baton from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

IMHO, Lifelong Republican Senator Jeff Sessions, of Alabama, ran like a rabbit, in attempt to prevent the investigation from spilling over into his sordid dealings!

They also had a segment on the Today Show. They can’t get enough of the whole scandal, down to Craig Melvin’s gotcha question to BC while they were supposed to be discussing his book with James Patterson.

I usually switch between Morning Joe and Today but lately I’ve been checking out CBS This Morning or just turning off the tv. No Craig Melvin for me.
