Trump Mocks Macrons Euro Army Suggestion: They Were Learning German in Paris Before U.S. Came Alongby Colby Hall | Nov 13th, 2018, 7:03 am
President Donald Trump lashed out at French President Emmanuel Macron, and took a not-so-veiled shot at the very character of the French people.
After spending much of the past weekend in Paris together, in what can be reasonably called a failed diplomatic reset, Trump hit at Macrons suggestion of a joint European military force designed to protect European countries from a threat of the United States, China and Russia. Officials close to President Trump reportedly claimed that the Euro military suggestion angered Trump, and Tuesdays early morning tweet seems to confirm that report. Trump tweeted:

Trump and Macron have experienced something of a mercurial diplomatic relationship. In Trumps first year and offense, some even called it a bromance evidenced by strangely long and overtly masculine handshakes.
But in this weekends diplomatic pomp and circumstance, Macron notably called out the concept of nationalism during a speech with Trump in attendance. Trump has proudly claimed his pride in being a nationalist versus being a globalist, which charitably suggests that Trumps understanding of the term is not in line with the rest of the worlds.

"Therefore, as ancestral heir of a truly ignoble chickenhawk republican lineage, I have the right in my own ego-corrupted mind to say all kinds of stupid shit about wars and America's loyal allies, since no one in my family (especially ME) has ever served any nation in any way. We've been too damn busy lying and grifting, and dodging the ceremonies to honor the Americans who actually served the nation, and who served with honor our nation's most profound friends and allies like France. Consequently, everyone should shut up and pretend that I am a republican war genius and that they love me." - Dirty Donny* (R)

but what will hasten its introduction is what Trump is doing. As an EU citizen, what is the biggest requirement is an EU Coastguard, and I would vote for that today.
