UPDATE 2 to House List:37. NJ 3rd: Democrat Andy Kim (former Obama aide) beats Republican McArthur
UPDATE to House List: Add to the list:
36. CA 10: Democrat Josh Harder defeats the Republican Denham.
Axios says the Democrats have flipped 35 House seats so far.
Axios says the Repubs have flipped 3 Senate seats, but the Democrats have flipped TWO! For a net gain of one for the Repubs.

(29,205 posts)4. my vote actually maybe made a difference this time
for the first time in my rather long voting life
In the past I either voted for winners who were going to win no matter what I did or I voted for people that basically had no chance.
I know, all votes count... but this one feels different!

(37,648 posts)5. How about that? I don't think my single vote has ever made a difference...
except maybe in a secondary small race. You're lucky.
But I know it's the collective vote...it's the single votes added up that makes the difference.
