My guess is Arizona democrats put someone who has a good public profile and strong military credentials up against McSally, a Mark Kelly or a female military ex officer who we have not heard of yet, but Arizonans know and respect.

Her congressional district despises her and she couldn't even win the primary with Arpaio's phony race to split the nut job vote. (McSally's and Arpaio signs were identical, they not only used the same sign shop they didn't even bother to change the template).

Ducey is termed out for Governor, and is much more popular than McSally.
