You never know when someone is going to blow up. Roy Moore did, and though his defeat was a narrow thing, he's not sitting in the Senate. Hyde-Smith might still pull through, but Espy can put on a credible challenge here. And who knows? There may be enough Mississippians who hate their racist past enough to put Espy in the Senate.
