IMO, what makes Trump so dangerous is this: he can't go back to his old life.

As soon as he's no longer president the indictments will fly. They may fly before that, but for certain when he's out, a slew of people are coming for him, people he's pissed off with his disrespect & bullying. He's likely broke, & when the Democratic House is finished with their upcoming investigations, the Trump brand will be exposed to the world for the shitpile it is. I don't think he's very bright, but he has to realize that he's not leaving the White House & going back to the life he had before.

The sanctions are costing him millions - maybe even billions - and he doesn't give a shit about what happens to the orange turd. Obviously there will never be a "Trump Moscow" hotel. If and when the sanctions are dropped, Pootie is done with him for good. Problem is, the Magnitsky laws (sanctions) have spread to many other countries by now. It's not just in the US, it's all over Europe and soon it will be many parts of the "free" world. Stolen Russian funds are frozen and won't be welcome anywhere.

As Thomas Wolfe said: "You can't go home again", but then, he probably doesn't know who Thomas Wolfe is, let alone understand the saying.

The rest of his life will be as miserable as the look on his face. He's ruined the country; he's ruined his family, and he's ruined whatever small regard he may have had. Running for the presidency will turn out to be the worst decision of his life.

Look what happened to dictators of the past -- the lucky ones slipped into senility, leaving their countries to be run by shadow governments. Most had to choose between exile and imprisonment with almost certain death penalty to follow, or share Mussolini's and Khaddafi's fate.

Stalin's fate was karma of another sort -- he died lying on his bedroom floor, while his aides waited outside, afraid to anger him by opening the door.

Expect Putin to follow Yeltsin's approach, and bargain his way to a graceful exit. But whoever he bargains with will be wise to toss Putin in jail at the first opportunity.
