Where were the British?

In all of the articles about the events in Paris, I saw no mention of the presence, or absence, of Prime Minister May or any other Brit. Nor have I seen her in any photos. The Brits are usually keen commemorators of WWI. Anyone know what’s up?

I would think Prime Minister May should have been at the ceremonies in France.
