(42,862 posts)... is the view through the open window, seeing the secretary sitting at her desk that's appears to be covered with papers. All the celebrations down below, and she's working hard. (Or, maybe it's an optical illusion because of the angle of the photo... perhaps she's at the edge of the window looking out at the activity.)

(14,049 posts)A valuable reminder for me to slow down and take more of the subtler details in. It's glorious how photography allows us to be in others' moments.
I think we are freed to scrutinize by looking closely in a way that few would do in person were they then and there.
