The Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation was founded in Boston in 1914 (incorporated in Maine in 1915) by Herbert Kalmus, Daniel Frost Comstock, and W. Burton Wescott.

I love learning. Thanks!

I didn't really look at anything else prior to squawking.

I'll be the guy drinking and dancing with one hand free, letting the world back into me. Oh, we'll be a sight to see... back in the high life again!

I hope I never again take for granted the value of being represented by a basically good person.

... is the view through the open window, seeing the secretary sitting at her desk that's appears to be covered with papers. All the celebrations down below, and she's working hard. (Or, maybe it's an optical illusion because of the angle of the photo... perhaps she's at the edge of the window looking out at the activity.)

A valuable reminder for me to slow down and take more of the subtler details in. It's glorious how photography allows us to be in others' moments.

I think we are freed to scrutinize by looking closely in a way that few would do in person were they then and there.
