(17,651 posts)Let me tell you, I was so fed up with this that I wrote the WH.
Can't think of anything else that can be done. I really think Pa. and the good citizens there will have to handle it.

(21,642 posts)Some seniors flat-out don't have birth certificates. My dad got one in his thirties by traveling to the state capital with his mom and two aunts who were present at the birth (a 9 hour drive in those days). What do you do when you're a senior and all the witnesses are dead?

(269,200 posts)I'm trying to figure out in which other democratic country could this madness take place.
We had voter fraud and established a National Electoral Commission . There is no political party that could pull off this criminality today because they don't run the elections and there will be no electronic voting either. paper ballots thank you very much.
I cannot believe I am witnessing this in America - not after Florida 2000.
Every time WiLLIARd and that other ReTHUG scumbag attack Obama, the response should about their public voter suppression and Rmoney's refusal to submit his tax returns.

(12,869 posts)It will cost the County Clerk about $20 for printing, mailing and processing. Paper ballot, no machine.

(15,810 posts)for Mom. She's been a very active Republican for over 70 years, but the Bush years really soured her. She voted for Obama, the first time in her life to vote for a Democrat for president. The Republicans' assaults on women have infuriated her. But it was this scheming to take voting rights away that finally brought her to the decision to end her membership in the party; that official severing took place a couple of months ago. It hurt, she cried. But she's tough, unsurprising for someone who was born at the same time that women got the right to vote in this country.

(23,500 posts)If they can steal Florida (which they have done with alarming regularity), Ohio (which they have done before), and Pennsylvania, we lose.
It's that simple.

(17,651 posts)This crap feels like an assault, heard some bonehead on Fox news clip on Rachel or Ed's show saying voting is a privilege!!!
Who is going to help US fight this? Who? The only ones that seem to care about our right to vote are the damn Republicans.
