That doesn’t mean Alexrod and Rove formed a company together though.

12. Not a fan of Axelrod (and certainly not Rove)

Axelrod has always struck me as someone who got lucky and hitched his wagon to a star, more than some strategic genius who helped make a star.

He also attacks a lot of progressives and is bizarrely (or suspiciously) defensive of Trump at times when it's really not called for. Wish I could say I was surprised that he's partnering with a scumbag like Rove. He's all about the $$$.

14. Obama was not a star when Axelrod joined up.

Obama had just been beaten in a 2000 race for Congress by the Daley machine in Chicago. Axelrod was a long time Daley political aide. When Obama made peace with Daley Axelrod joined. I am not saying Axelrod made Obama President but he did know how to do the dirty work needed in any national campaign.
