I live in TX-33 congressional district (Dallas- Ft Worth) which is very blue amidst a sea of red. My district is the perfect picture of gerrymandering.

Part of heavily Democratic Bergen County along the Hudson River and attached to bright red Repub farm country stretching out all the way to the Delaware River on the west. In the last two cycles a Dem finally broke through to win it after over 30 years of Repub rule, so hang in there.

They (the infamous"they&quot carve up the district so there is a little bit of Dem and a whole lot of Repukes? Is that to split up the Dem vote to dilute it's voting power???

4. It's more like

contain minorities and college students into 1 tightly condensed district. But spread out into rural areas and gerrymander a district to include as many Reps as possible. Texas needs a bi-partisan commission, but that won't happen any time soon. The GOP bible thumpers and Exxon own this state.
