Enough is Enough: Alyssa Milano Drops Support for Women's March

Actress and feminist icon Alyssa Milano, one of the #MeToo movement leaders, made it clear recently that she has had enough. “Any time that there is any bigotry or anti-Semitism in that respect, it needs to be called out and addressed. I’m disappointed in the leadership of the Women’s March that they haven’t done it adequately,” Milano said In an interview with The Advocate when she was asked about the march leader’s relationship to the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan. Milano said she would decline to attend the next Women’s March.

Milano has had enough. I have had enough. We all should have had enough. The Women’s March has consistently, repeatedly failed to address ingrained institutional anti-semitism. It must be confronted before the next March in January. We will not wait any longer. Our resistance to hatred will only grow.

Linda, Tamika, Carmen, Bob. Let me repeat it back to you. There needs to be accountability and an honest reckoning. You have betrayed American Jewish Women. You have betrayed gay women. You have betrayed Trans Women. You have just lost a powerful partner. She has seen the way you tolerate hatred and decided to take off her sneakers and stay home. You will lose more. Hate has already seeped into the cracks and corners. It is eating at the foundation and eventually, it will flood your house or bring the whole thing down. It will break everything you have built and leave you standing in the rubble.

I don't want to be associated with anyone who can't condemn louis farrakhan. I also will not march this year until the organization cleans up the crap.

Their public alliance with Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan has made a blatant mockery of all they claimed the #MeToo Movement supposedly stood for.

About time they were told so to their lying faces.

Thank you Alyssa Milano.
THANK YOU!

At first I didn't realize their bias, until I messaged them on Facebook asking them to include Hillary on their list of significant women and they responded with parking information the first time and did not respond at all the second time. Then they held an event in Detroit and decided to invite Bernie Sanders to speak and again excluded HRC supporters. I won't be associated with them.

Total fraud and opportunist. However, I think the Women's March is bigger than her, and frankly most of the organizers.

we have zero credibility in calling them out on the right and how "big" she is isn't the issue.

I wouldn't be so hasty to throw the baby out with the bath water. The women's march is still a powerful symbolic movement. If people think they can do better, start your own protest march. Until then, I'll be protesting the true focus of my ire, the GOP and the complicit corruption and anti-American ideals.

If right wingers were marching about anything and we found out the organizers were part of the proud boys or something, we would be howling from the rooftops. I put farrakhan in the same basket of deplorables I put the proud boys in.

The twit has nothing to say other than farrakhan is her mentor. It's time for liberals to clean up our own house when it comes to repulsive bigots.

Anyway, Milano's mistakes aside, the participation of most marchers didn't have a thing to do with them.

Drop the bigots, keep the marches. Any sign of reorganizing yet?
