(24,324 posts)Nate McMurray may yet fire Chris Collins.
Some 18,000 uncounted ballots of various types, MOSTLY absentee. And 2500 vote spread.
Collins and GOP are trying to stop the NYS NOW from counting those ballots.
FUCK THE GOP forever and ever. amen.

(1,603 posts)In the 2016 election, there was a consistent 2.5 percent bias towards the GOP in many of the contested states as compared to the polls, most within the margin of error, but only just. This year, polling came in pretty much where the final results said they would be, and from what I've been able to see, the variance was evenly distributed this time around, except in Florida and Georgia where the evidence of voting irregularities is piling up.
Polling did not dramatically improve in 2018 over 2016. What did was that people were far more dogged about calling out questionable activities and making them publicly known, along with pressure to expand early and vote by mail. It only strengthens the argument that 2016 was a stolen election.
