especially disappointed. I am disappointed about a couple of races (Florida Gov and Senate, Georgia Gov, and Indiana Senate). But given the map and the shenanigans down there, it is what it is. Dem enthusiasm and the gap in the popular vote (which still matters some) and their performance in the Midwest and mid and upper Atlantic were outstanding. Hell Beto, Gillum, and Abrams' performances in Georgia, Florida, and Texas portend good things to come.

I'll keep reminding folks that THIS WAS A MIDTERM. It's like Olympics for old bluehairs (no offense to my senior citizens). Not the Democratic party. If the fire that burned Tuesday remains during a general election, it's going to be brutal for the GOP.

At the same time, we lost a thousand seats during the Obama years and we regained a third of that back this week and I’m proud of that.

3. No Hell about Florida.

Not so easy to brush off given that Gillum is 2000 votes away from a recount and we NEED this state. We need a Dem governor in place to fix our election machine discrepancy in this state so we're all voting on the same machines that provide paper ballots. AND we need a governor and senator in place to make sure there is no funny business with the 2020 census and the gerrymandering that follows.

I was rooting for Andrew Gillum the man is a professional and has class.
