Gillum only needs 2,000 more votes for a recount. We're calling people who did provisional ballots to get them to make sure they were counted. Happening statewide. Will keep you posted.

(254 posts)are honest and foolproof or mostly foolproof. Ik following the vote from origin to actual tabulation is the most important. There has to be a chain of custody all the way through its life cycle.

(10,053 posts)Florida state law requires the margin of victory to be equal or less than 0.5 percent of total votes. A machine recount is used in the case but if the margin is equal or less than 0.25 percent, a manual recount is ordered. The Secretary of State's Office said a manual recount is a hand recount of overvotes and undervotes set-aside from the machine recount.
In Gillum's case, the numbers Wednesday morning showed him with 4,008,435 votes to DeSantis' 4,059,313, a margin of just over 0.6 percent. (NOTE: These numbers are being updated frequently today. We'll do our best to update them.)

(23,099 posts)If we don't reach them after 2 attempts, we will be going to their houses knocking on their doors. We are also calling people whose mail in ballots were rejected for signature match. If anyone wants to rectify this and needs a ride, we will provide rides to the SOE office. Hopefully we can turn some of these results back blue.

(33 posts)Completed the final required step: physically showing up at Election Hdqtrs to fully explain the situation spelled out on the provisional form. They have only a few days to do this or their vote is lost.

(810 posts)Thank you for doing this and for keeping us informed. I absolutely know that Gillum (and Abrams and who knows who else) would have won if ALL the votes were counted and not tampered with.

(1 post)I live in Tampa. I vote by mail. I have checked multiple time since I mailed in my ballot around 10/17. When I check on the website, it says received. However, it does not say processed. My 2016 one says processed. I checked this morning at 0900.
You had asked about provisional ballots but not sure if you needed to know about absentee.
