I wish I were able to illustrate my ideas her, but I will have to settle for this:
I think the following actions are called for as a response to Trump and his staff's actions and remarks re: CNN and Jim Acosta. These are a bare minimum and should be followed up with commentary, as appropriate.
I think these should be done across the board on every news or talk show (i.e., pundit shows) by every self respectig legitimate reporter, commentator, or broadcaster.
Take a knee
At the beginning of every program the individuals should make a brief statement that their actions are in solidarity and out of respect for the importance of the 1st Am. and freedom of the press. Then they should in silence, take a knee for 15 seconds before commencing their coverage or program
This should especially be done at any White House press event and in the presence of Donald Trump and staff.
Black out
at any of the above press event, after the above activity and as soon as the tRump or staff begins to speak the screen should go black.
