republicans picked up seats primarily because the map was terrible -- we already had most of the seats up for election this cycle, so many of our victories didn't get us a pickup, they merely held on to a seat.

We are stuck and cannot throw out the Constitution due to unforeseen consequences by those who assumed we need an aristocracy to balance governance.
