....many towns are reporting ~40% turnout and predicting up to 70% by the time the polls close at 8:00 PM.
That's more than many Presidential elections. Perhaps there is a "silver lining" from 2016?

(297,528 posts)after the last 2 years of seeing what the Russians dumped on America.. Of Course, People are going to get themselves to the polls as if their very lives depended on it.. And, it does.

These lines and reports of very high turnout are encouraging.
