Perhaps it’s just that I’m a senior, but it seems to me that we are the most sex-obsessed country on earth. Add the violence that some young men are encouraged to feel, and you have a recipe for disaster. I hate to blame parents, but what kind of home life did incels have? I know my parents kept us so busy with chores that between school and work on the farm we didn’t have time or the energy to think about sex—of course, back then, we weren’t bombarded with it every time we turned on the TV or now the Internet. What do these men learn about women during formative years? And is there any way to reach them to encourage behavioral change—they must be really miserable characters.

6. Hate-full extremists will always find a cause. It is OUR job to contain them.

Fortunately, they're all small minorities with a great deal of overlap. Men with hate-full and bigoted attitudes toward women have hate-full and bigoted attitudes toward other groups that make up the rest of humanity also.

I wish people would pay far less attention, btw, to these creeps and far more to the increase in lonely men who are being shut out of the American dream of marriage, children and happy homes because some women are making other choices. This has become a huge problem for both them and for the health of our democracy and is one that needs to be addressed by caring society.

When some of these men say the Democrats' promises of progress don't talk to them, they're feeling that our fight to advance equality of women and minorities as hurting them badly, and they see no end in sight. Many handle this rationally and decently. But anger and frustration in men have always been potentially dangerous, and now it's dangerous on a national scale as bad leaders seek to harness fears of not getting any, now or ever, to overthrow Democrats.

14. Back in my day, we had another word for "incels": LOSERS.

And EVERY guy knew that if you couldn't get ANY woman to go out with you, there was something clearly wrong with YOU.

But we took responsibility for things like this back then. We worked on our clothes, our bodies, our hygiene, and... MOST importantly... our behavior. It was amazing how often that resulted in almost miraculous change in our fortunes--romantically and otherwise.

But I can completely understand why they think that being a mopey, sulky, angry, whiny titty-baby is an effective strategy for them. Their God King Leader is the biggest mopey, sulky, angry, whiny titty-baby I have ever seen walk the Earth.
