Organizing among active duty service folks?

Many years ago there were a bunch of efforts to do progressive organizing work among active duty military folks. Does anyone know if such work continues? Troops sent to the border could probably use the support.

Everybody from the American Friends Service Committee to the Socialist Worker’s Party. I guess it died out after that, though.
