The suspect, a 50-year-old from New Madison, is facing multiple counts of disorderly conduct.
A man who police had been looking for after running his hands through the hair of random women has been located and charged.
The suspect, whose name is not being released until charges are formally filed, is a 50-year-old man from New Madison, on the states far west side.
Police in multiple jurisdictions had been looking for the man after he had been seen at businesses in the Hilliard and Dublin areas.
Women told police the man had approached them with a variety of stories, including needing directions and telling the women they had a bug in their hair. The man would then run his hands through the womens hair.
The suspect is expected to be charged with four counts of disorderly conduct in Franklin County Municipal Court.

(146,325 posts)Once, in the Las Vegas airport, I was dragging my carry-on bag toward my gate, when a woman in her 30s came up to me and said, "Can I feel your beard?" I have a fairly long full beard. Being a friendly and willing sort of person, I said, "Sure." So she did. When she stopped, I said, "OK, bye," and continued to my gate.
The moral of the story is that if you have a hair fetish, get consent before getting your jollies. Who knows? You might meet a friendly sort of person who doesn't mind if you do.
