Once The Midterms Are Over, Expect To Hear From Robert Mueller AgainSpecial counsel Robert Muellers office has kept things pretty quiet in the run-up to the midterm elections. Thats likely to change after Tuesday.

While its true that none of the charges, thus far, have been against Trump campaign staff for allegations that they took illegal actions as part of their campaign efforts, some of the allegations made by Mueller or other federal prosecutors have referenced contact or attempts at contact between Russian officials or agents and members of the Trump campaign. And Muellers investigation has covered a lot of ground beyond whats appeared in charges.
If the special counsels office turns after the midterms, as evidence suggests it could, to taking actions against members of Trumps 2016 campaign and his inner circle, Mueller will once again find himself in the spotlight and the target of the presidents wrath.

(63,221 posts)I don't get it. If there is something there that will negatively influence the election against the republicans, shouldn't he come out with it ahead of time?

(658 posts)Mueller is brilliant. He simply won't play Trump's game of Simon Says. I suspect he knows that Trump and his flying monkeys would distort anything he does pre-election.
I'm praying for tons of indictments to come pouring down after next Tuesday. You know? Like Christmas before Thanksgiving.
