Joe Biden. Folks, he's very presidential. Biden/Baldwin WI Vote rally.

Joe is genuine, smart, seasoned and well loved. If he picked the right VP... Who knows....

Here's some pics from the rally Tuesday in Madison.
(We managed first row seats in the reserve section. OMG)

Tammy looked fairly presidential herself. Just sayin'.

Intelligent, caring, compassionate, patriotic, which means he's everything the current occupant of the White House is not.

to fairly consistent polls. He would have to pick a young VP who will be on the stage for a long time, and Obama campaigning for him vouching for him as his former VP will be a huge ticket!

but Democrats win when they run youth.

Right now, I don't see anyone with WJC/BHO-level charisma and vigor on the Dem bench. I want Sen. Harris to be that person, but she hasn't impressed me rhetorically yet.

To beat Trump, we'll need a sharp wit who can stand up to his bullying without looking angry.

Dems are walking a fine line in 2020. Trump, as much as we loathe him, is better at TV than any Dem. He's going to turn it into a circus.

Our candidate, and our Party, needs to be capable of countering it.

Youth is a component of successful Democratic candidates. I will always object to posts proposing anyone over 70 for the nomination.

It was a high five to a highly qualified human being who was very presidential and happens to be older and white and male. I think many are objecting too strongly. Almost a fear of Joe Biden running.

but that's the historical precedent. JFK was in his early 40s in 1960. Obama, Clinton: 40s.

the candidate who projects the most vigor and charisma wins. it's why repukes attacked HRC for getting pneumonia. it's why FDR hid his polio.

repukes understand the venality and stupidity of human nature, and exploit it without shame. we don't, because its unethical to do so, and as a result we are out of power. Dems barely mentioned asshole's absurd comb-over during the campaign. HRC should have pointed at it and called him a vain clown. he'd have had an aneurysm.

we might want to not run an old white guy. We have a government that is not being run by the demographics they represent. We should work to change that.

benefit greatly with advice and mentoring from an elder statesman like Joe Biden.

Biden, as good as he may be will be 78 in 2020. It's time for newer, fresher faces. Even battle scared ones like Kamala Harris and Corey Booker to take over.

I don't believe Joe Biden's work is over I do believe he won't hold another elected position and that would be a great benefit for the next generation of elected officials.

Once again, I also said Baldwin looked presidential as well. She young enough and energetic enough for you?

No matter what you think I said, Joe Biden looks very presidential. He’s very popular with young energetic voters as proof by Tuesday.

Sometimes folks push back against folks and it sounds like ageism with an emphasis on white guy.

I will vote for him if he is our candidate, but I have never, and will never, vote for him in a primary. He has never actually apologized for how he treated Hill, not formally apologized to her. I was home sick during the hearing, and Biden treated Hill horribly.
