Trump believes the media is his puppet, to pull the strings as he so wishes...

He is very adept at steering them in the direction he wants them to go.

For example, his comments about "birthright citizenship".

He knows that it is in the Constitution. He knows that if he comments on it, the media will jump on it like a chicken on a junebug.

But, the 14th Amendment, and birthright citizenship, is a way to steer the media discussion back to illegal immigration and dangerous "caravans"...

Some in the media are aware of his manipulations. His schtick has become very old.

If I want to see them, I can look at twitter. How is that news? Why not show us fires and floods like you used to? No local news folks showing them?

To use them against us for him. Spreading his propaganda ,and his narrative on a daily basis. The media is complicit for doing it for profits.
