4. He has only surrounded himself by worshipers for so long that he could not believe that

there are actually millions of people on the planet who despise him. He could not take that in. His fragile little ego just couldn't accept the truth. I hope it breaks him and I hope the midterms show him what people really think of him. More than anything I want him to be exposed to the truth of who he really is and what a majority of people in the world really feel about him.

Given his aversion to any dissent, it surprised me that he went, that he would risk exposing himself to ridicule.

Remember his trip to Great Britain after huge protests - complete with baby blimp trumpie - from the English ? What did he do ? Avoided London entirely, didn't even land at Heathrow.

Well, Pittsburgh told him that they did not want him there, Hell, everybody in Pittsburgh told him. Even the PA gov asked him not to show. Their priority was on the grieving families, burying the dead and comforting the survivors, and not on coddling his massive ego or giving him some cheap photo-op.

I'm glad that the Iron City scorned him.
