I attended an event with Sen. Gillibrand last night.

She said she's not making any decisions about 2020 until after the Election. But if she decides to run, she could be a compelling candidate, especially for the Obama-Trump voters and the women who come out to vote Democratic this year.

I have no favorites at this point, but nothing I see says that the average Democratic voter is dwelling on Al Franken.

She threw a colleague under the bus to advance her own career by capitalizing on the metoo movement.

"Today Senator Franken acknowledged that he could no longer serve in the Senate and resigned. As he and I discussed yesterday, this is the right decision."

be effective. Klobuchar never demanded his resignation but merely supported his decision after the fact.

She talked to him privately about it.

I suppose if this is your standard, there'll always be Joe Manchin to vote for...

because Kirsten flip flops on more than a few important issues whenever it suits her ambitions, such as guns and immigration. I highly suspect that if she became the candidate in the general election, she just might revert back to her days of anti-immigration and pro-guns when she was in the House representing an area of NYS that wasn't nearly as blue as other areas of the state. She has been far from consistent. Plus, she's been disloyal to a number of important Democrats such as Al Franken and Bill and Hillary Clinton, two of the people who helped her the most during her run for the Senate.
