Compared to the same time period in '14, voters under the age of 30 in Texas have increased their turnout by 508% (not a typo). Voters over the age of 65 in TX increased their turnout by 96%.

Hispanic voters in Texas have surged in early vote turnout by more than any other race/ethnicity, with a 214% increase. This is compared to a 165% increase among white voters.

a 96% increase over a very large number of senior voters may still be larger than a 508% increase over a comparatively small number of young voters.

The problem is getting them to turn out. Trump is probably the greatest motivator ever for turning out.

It was the third day of early voting. I was in a very red area. The turnout was light but it was the middle of the day, about 3pm. There was no line. I saw almost nothing but women. I think that is also a good sign. Polling is showing even Republican women are less for Cruz than Republican men.

of turnout. Remember, polling is typically based on a 'likely' voter model. Those never account for new and casual voters. That gap is especially big in TX, because it is typically 50/50 states in voter turnout.
