Compared to the same time period in '14, voters under the age of 30 in Texas have increased their turnout by 508% (not a typo). Voters over the age of 65 in TX increased their turnout by 96%.

Hispanic voters in Texas have surged in early vote turnout by more than any other race/ethnicity, with a 214% increase. This is compared to a 165% increase among white voters.

(3,764 posts)It was the third day of early voting. I was in a very red area. The turnout was light but it was the middle of the day, about 3pm. There was no line. I saw almost nothing but women. I think that is also a good sign. Polling is showing even Republican women are less for Cruz than Republican men.

(27,559 posts)of turnout. Remember, polling is typically based on a 'likely' voter model. Those never account for new and casual voters. That gap is especially big in TX, because it is typically 50/50 states in voter turnout.
