General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJust got another email from Senator Sanders.
Subject line: "I am writing to ask you to make a $3 donation to Andrew Gillums campaign before he has to stop fundraising tomorrow and for the rest of the election. This is important. Let me share why."
Opening the email we find that that subject line is inaccurate (if not deceiving). The fine print in the link to go to make a contribution reads:
"Can you split a $3 donation between Andrew Gillums campaign for governor before tomorrows deadline and my work rallying progressives across the country in this final week before the election? This is very important."
Click the link and there's no mention of either of the Committees to which the contribution will go, no disclaimers, no "I approved....etc.".
If you want to contribute to GILLUM'S campaign, you can contribute directly here:

(67,782 posts)...(he's going there tomorrow), although unlike most prominent "Democrats" he endorsed Gillum in the primary. Democratic figures generally don't endorse primary candidates outside of their own state.
