There have been plenty of people associated with Tree of Life Synagogue who have said they do not want him there. The press should respect that, even if TrumPutin refuses to do so.

If he's cult-like followers want to show up and make a scene, let them get a taste of what they deserve. I could care a less what these frauds try to make of it. It's time we stop trying to ignore him and keep the peace. It's time to act up.

You promote the message of "stirring the pot" in directions that would not benefit Democrats in elections. imo Just wanted to object to your message. Rumpians want Democrats to "act out" in violent, ugly ways so that they can claim "both sides do it".

You are not behaving like Ted Kennedy, imo.

Look, he even thrives on negative attention; it's the carny barker in him. All publicity is good. He'll twist it around so his unhinged base will act as if he (Trump) was the victim, the one being attacked.

Complete and utter silence and empty streets should greet him. Shuttered windows. A city that completely ignores him to the extent possible.

Trump to console Pittsburgh alone as local, congressional leaders skip visit

The president's visit comes as funerals are starting for the victims of last weekend's synagogue shooting.

By JESUS RODRIGUEZ 10/30/2018 10:53 AM EDT Updated 10/30/2018 12:36 PM EDT
....

The four top congressional leaders in both parties — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), as well as Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) — were invited to join Trump in Pittsburgh but declined, according to a source familiar with the matter. Both McConnell and Ryan had previous commitments with the midterms just one week away.

Sens. Pat Toomey (R-Penn.) and Bob Casey (D-Penn.) are also not joining the president, according to a source close to Toomey and Casey spokeswoman Jacklin Rhoads. Matt Dinkel, a spokesman for Democratic Rep. Mike Doyle, whose district includes the Squirrel Hill area, confirmed the congressman was not invited to join Trump's visit. ... Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald will also not join the visit.

Tree of Life Rabbi Jeffrey Myers, who initially said Trump was "certainly welcome" to visit, also appeared to break with Trump, saying he would not be meeting him and decrying the rhetoric of public officials, which he said can fan the flames of violence. ... "When you speak words of hate, when you speak ill of the other candidate, any words of hate, Americans listen to you. They get their instructions from you," Myers told CNN's "New Day" on Tuesday. "When you speak words of hate, you say to them, 'This is okay, you can do it as well.'" ... "Tone down the hate. Speak words of love, speak words of decency and of respect. When that message comes loud and clear, Americans will hear that and we can begin to change the tenor of our country," Myers added.

Asked during a POLITICO Playbook interview on Tuesday whether politicians should tone down the rhetoric, Vice President Mike Pence said, "Well, everyone has their own style, and there's strong rhetoric on both sides of the aisle." .... Trump is scheduled to arrive in Pittsburgh at 3:45 p.m.

Elana Schor contributed to this report.

He didn't listen to them ask him to wait until after the funerals. He wants the photo-op and the ability to check it off the list as "doing his Presidential duty." That's the entirety of why he's visiting.
