Sanders Won't Commit to Serving Out Term

October 30, 2018 at 7:58 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

During a U.S. Senate candidate forum Monday night, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) would not commit to serving a full six-year term if reelected, Seven Days reports.

Said Sanders: “Right now, my focus is on the year 2018, but if you’re asking me to make an absolute pledge as to whether I’ll be running for president or not, I’m not going to make that pledge. The simple truth is I have not made that decision. But I’m not going to sit here and tell you that I may not run. I may. But on the other hand, I may not.”

Retire Bernie, you have done your thing, retire. We need young blood who have always been Democrats, not just when it is expedient.

The only guy his age or close to it with a chance is Biden, and I love Joe but would rather see someone young go for it, it will energize the young people and maybe even us old coots.

If it does come to Bernie or Joe that is a no brainer as far as I am concerned.

Me.

so he'd get the nom instead of an actual Dem, then once the primary is over he kicks the results aside and says he's running as an indie, so the Dems are then left empty-handed, and now he says he may not serve the entire time. What? And where is the integrity in this?
